Today is Little New Year (Chinese: Xiaonian) in the Chinese lunar calendar, marking the start of the Spring Festival.

With their round, plump bodies, pale yellow short beaks, and fluffy white "collars," the Reed Parrotbills are a kind of endangered birds inhabiting the Niukouyu Wetland Park near and operated by SINOPEC Yanshan Petrochemical Company. Recently, Sinopec carried out again "You’re the Most Beautiful” supporting program for the growth of Hong Kong minors, aiming to help the needy youth improve their abilities in all aspects.

Over 50 sponsored students and more than 30 Sinopec volunteers in Hong Kong gathered in Yuen Long Pineapple Farm of Hong Kong. The students participated in interactive games and planting workshops, and had a close encounter with animals. The students were guided to take care of the environment and animals while feeling the love from the community.

Love is indeed all around us. It's present in the warmth of the helping hands, the kindness of society, and the beauty of nature. Let’s appreciate the beauty and wonder of the world we live in.  #CommunityforSharedFuture
